The earliest type of mention in history on Epilepsy is found within the Babylonian civilization. These believed that if one suffered from this disorder, they were indeed possessed by demon(s). The different types of seizures would hint what demon(s) are or is posessing the physical body.

 

Although it is true that demons have been known to cause any inflict diseases up on the living, the Bible doesn't mention that epilepsy is a separate condition from demonic possession. Second, Possessed individuals are also able to speak in strange and foreign tongues. Also, revealing hidden information from past, present and or future. The person's whole demeanor and personality is not subject to change if you are epileptic.
